Biography
Born and raised in Burbank, California, Britt Hysen grew up in the media capital of the world. A performer from an early age, it was only natural that she developed an on-camera personality. While pursuing a Business Marketing degree and acting career, she attended the 2010 National Association of Television and Programing Executives conference in Las Vegas. Understanding the trade show would focus on the ways in which the entertainment industry was changing, Britt thought to start a video blog series to capture and report the advice of entertainment executives in real time. This was her entry into the world of video journalism, and the first time Britt would write, produce, host, and edit short videos.
She returned to Los Angeles determined to inspire and elevate the conversations of her generation. Gen Y Hub, the holistic network that connects Millennials with brand sponsors through an editorial, video, and social platform has since developed. Labeled The Voice Of Gen Y
by her journalist peers, Britt has written and produced more than 150 interviews relevant to Gen Y culture since 2010. Covering stories from red carpets and music festivals, to the LA Occupy movement and South Central Black Tea Party rally, Britt has exposed the heart and intellect of the generation as well as those who care about the future
