Biography

Born in Tirana, Albania, but raised in a small suburban town in New Jersey, Xhiljola Nano grew up intrigued by the world. With a love for different cities, nature, travel, people, and the mysteries of planet Earth, Xhiljola turned to poetry as her outlet of expression at the young age of 10. It wasn’t long before writing became her escape, and she dreamed of becoming a best-selling author. Xhiljola is currently studying Corporate Communications and Psychology at Baruch College in New York City. As an intern with Gen Y Hub, Xhiljola wrote about fashion, beauty, music, and entrepreneurship. This lead to her being hired as a fashion writer for myCulture Magazine, and as a music journalist for WAXWIRE Magazine.
