"Houston, we have a problem"...

...is probably what the movers of the Space Shuttle Endeavour thought as they maneuvered through the streets of Los Angeles enroute to the California Science Center, it's final destination; but I'm happy to report Endeavour has officially ended her 123 million mile journey through the universe.

I can only imagine the stories Endeavour could tell if she were really a...uh...she. The cross town transport alone was said to have cost the California Science Center $10 million dollars, and ran 17 hours behind schedule because of small trees and unforeseen obstacles. And in case you're wondering who picked up the tab, all funding was through private donations.

Wow. What a photo. I heard 400 trees were removed to make this happen. Bummer.
