I am huge fan of Gordon Ramsay, I went to his restaurant The London in West Hollywood, I have watched most seasons of Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef, Kitchen Nightmares and his British show The F Word. I watch those shows because I like cooking shows (even Iron Chef, Chopped) and with Gordon Ramsay we get a great personality and a high level of quality in the show. When Gordon Ramsay tells us how to cook a steak or make a souffle, I'm all ears because this is coming from a chef with more than 10 Michelin stars. Even in shows like Hell's Kitchen, we aren't learning how to cook, but Gordon Ramsay cursing and shouting for an hour is entertainment in my books (even though it does get old).

Now though, Ramsay has a new show called Hotel Hell, which is similar to Kitchen Nightmares but instead of fixing up failing restaurants, he fixes up failing hotels. As a fan of Ramsay, I can confidently say i will never watch this show. It seems the producers at FOX just want to put him on television but have run out of cooking ideas. Everything about this show screams desperation.

I couldn't take it seriously after hearing the first thing Gordon hates about hotels, a shortage of pillows. As Gordon goes  through the list, it seems he cant take it seriously either and can't believe this is a real show. Honestly, neither can I. I just hope this gets cancelled and Gordon can go back to....oh, they've already been renewed for a second season. Damn.
